Benita Willis is, without doubt, Australia’s greatest female distance runner. Domestically, Benita has won 5 national titles . Her biggest achievement was winning the 2004 World Cross Country Championships in Brussels beating the highly fancied Africans.

Athletics North Queensland will be running a Meet and Greet with the great Benita Willis on the 29th March 2019. This is open to anyone in the local community and to any athletes under the age of 18.
